Titanic - Lesson From The Past

"Sometimes the only way to move forward is to revisit the things in your past that were holding you back. You have to deal with them head on, no matter how scary they may be. Because once you do, you'll see that you go further than you ever imagined."
- Barry Allen -

Although the majestic Titanic has sunk a long time ago, but because of that unfortunate incident that humanity was able to move forward.

How?

Because back during that time, typical ship use human vision (literally a human, or two looking out into the sea) who would be standing at the top of the ship and keep on watching and being aware of the ocean's surrounding, and update everything to the captain on the bridge.

It was after the Titanic unbearable event that human finally was able to invent something called SONAR. A piece of technology that uses sound wave to construct a visual image of the ship's surrounding and anything below it. In hope that in the future, we will never miss seeing an iceberg again.

Because of that one fall, we rise further in our life.

Sometimes, life can be tough. Of course, during that moment, we would feel defeated. Our world are seen as pitch black and coming to its end. There's no more hope and no more strength.

We will fall to the lowest point possible in our life. But because of this fall, it only means that there will be no other way but to go up.

We can feel sad, of course. We're human. However, after finish crying, rise up and be better. Improve ourselves constantly everyday and have that rivalry race with your own self every moment of your life.

"A better you means a better universe." - Khairul Faezy -

A moment of silence to those who died during the RMS Titanic incident, 14th April 1912.

About Me

A few years ago, just like any typical SPM leavers, I jumped into an engineering field, thinking that it would suit me well, as I love Physics so much. However, due to my deep passion and intention to understand human mind and behaviour, I continued my journey into Bsc in Psychology at University of Nottingham. More About Me →
